3M Thailand History

3M Thailand Limited was established in 1967. For over 40 years, 3M Thailand has built a reputation for quality and operational excellence serving Thai customers in the automotive, electronics, hospital, food processing and retail industries. 3M Thailand manufactures and markets abrasives, filtration products, Post-it® Brand products, Scotch® Brand Foam Tape, Scotch® Tape, graphics for the automotive industry, healthcare products including surgical tapes, dressings, first aid bandages and other products in Thailand.

Milestones of 3M Thailand

1948: 1st Scotch® tape was sold
1956: 1st 3M ScotchliteTM reflective materials for traffic and safety signage were installed
1962: 1st Scotch-Brite® cleaning pad was sold
1967: 3M Thailand officially founded.
1970:1st ScotchgardTM fabric, carpet and leather cleaning and protection was sold
1970: 1st 3M Scotchtint™ automotive and building film was sold
1985: Post-it® notes and flags was launched
1995: FiltreteTM air-conditioner filter was launched
1996: Scotchprint® graphics was launched
2001: 1st Thinsulate™ thermal insulation was sold
2002: NexcareTM first aid solution was launched
2003:1st Nanocomposite 3M ESPE Filtek Supreme was introduced
2007: Acquired Neoplast Group Company to expand 3M wound care product line
